Hundreds of turkeys have arrived, thanks to your generosity!

Thanks to your gifts, the Sacred Heart Southern Missions Food Pantry in Walls, Mississippi is alive with activity. Hundreds of frozen turkeys have been purchased from the Mid-south Food Pantry, trucked to Walls, unloaded, and packed into trucks for distribution to food pantries in Sacred Heart Southern Missions Social Service Offices in Senatobia, Holly Springs and Olive Branch.

Thanksgiving preparations are well underway, thanks to your generosity. Other Thanksgiving Dinner items (vegetables, breads, cheese and other items) are being purchased with the funds donors like you provided and are being assembled with food donations from local grocery stores, food distribution warehouses, restaurants and retail outlets. Soon, student volunteers will team up with volunteer employees from area businesses to assemble Thanksgiving Food Baskets at the Sacred Heart Southern Missions Food Pantry in Walls so they can be distributed in time to reach the poor by Thanksgiving.
