Book of RemembranceYou can honor loved ones who have departed through their enrollment in our special Book of Remembrance. This book is a tribute to the deceased who played a special part in your life and is on permanent display in the Guest Hall of Sacred Heart Southern Missions. All enrollees will be included in Father Jack’s daily prayers and Masses and in the daily morning devotions of our office staff.
Your Book of Remembrance memorial gift to honor loved ones also supports the tireless efforts of our missionaries helping the needy, poor, sick and elderly in our service area.
Tree of Life You can pay tribute to the people who have touched your life, living or deceased, through their enrollment in our Tree of Life. This bronze sculpture gives life to the memory of loved ones or honor to those still living and is on permanent display in the Conference Room of Sacred Heart Southern Missions. All enrollees will be included in Father Jack’s daily prayers and Masses and in the daily morning devotions of our office staff.
Your Tree of Life memorial gift to honor family or friends also gives life to the needy, poor, sick and elderly in our service area by providing them with spiritual and material needs.
Children's Memorial Scholarship FundA Catholic education is out of reach for most families we serve without substantial financial assistance. The Children’s Memorial Scholarship Fund was created to provide children in these families the best hope for a life of opportunity to replace a life of poverty.
The Children’s Memorial Scholarship Fund also offers you two meaningful ways to honor a living or deceased loved one:
Samaritan Memorial Scholarship
With your memorial gift of $200 you provide educational essentials for the children in the two schools of Sacred Heart Southern Missions. You honor your loved one with an engraved brick in the Prayer and Meditation Courtyard of Sacred Heart School. Your loved one is perpetually included in the prayers of the children and in prayers and Masses offered for the children.
Patron Memorial Scholarship
With your memorial gift of $500 you help ensure that children have the teachers, books, supplies and technology necessary to secure an excellent Catholic education. You honor your loved one with an engraved block on the Building Blocks for Life display in the foyer of Holy Family School. Your loved one is perpetually included in prayers of the children and in prayers and Masses offered for the children.
Personalized Scholarship
With your gift of $5,000 you create an individualized scholarship named for your loved one, or for your favorite saint. Your scholarship is the primary provider of the essentials a child needs to obtain a Catholic education. An individual marbleized plaque is engraved and displayed in the school you designate. A smaller replica is provided to you. Your loved one is included in the prayers of the children and in prayers and Masses offered for the children especially during Catholic Schools Week.
