Sacred Heart Southern Missions provide a wide range of pastoral, educational, and social services to people living in some of the poorest areas in the state of Mississippi.
Through eight social service offices, Sacred Heart Southern Missions seek long term solutions to the problems suffered by poor families while our thrift store and food pantries provide for immediate needs. A variety of programs is available in each local area:

Sacred Heart Southern Missions is blessed by the service of many individuals and groups of volunteers of all ages. All touch the hearts and needs of so many of our children and clients. Some are local; some come from far away and are provided housing; some stay for a short time, others for an extended time. There’s a place for you…
Education is the best way to break the cycle of poverty in northern Mississippi. By providing the necessary foundational skills, we prepare children with the tools they need to complete their education and prepare for their future.
