Education is the best way to break the cycle of poverty in northern Mississippi. By providing the necessary foundational skills, we prepare children with the tools they need to complete their education and prepare for their future.
We provide Catholic education (pre-K through 8th grade) to over 500 students at Sacred Heart School in Southaven, MS and Holy Family School in Holly Springs, MS. Teaching about God and the Catholic faith, we instill in the children a love of God and neighbor, respect for all, and a solid morality.
All families pay something towards the cost of education. At Holy Family, where more than 97% of the students qualify for free or reduced lunch, the amount that a family can afford is often very little. We could not operate either school without the generosity of our benefactors throughout the country.
