Birthday Gift for Life
Charitable gift annuities are an excellent way to support the programs of Sacred Heart Southern Missions while securing fixed payments for life. They also provide certain tax benefits that can be helpful.
One of our donors found a creative use for a gift annuity: an annual birthday present to her son! Marie is a widow, age 88, who has established several gift annuities for herself through the years. She recently established another annuity but this one in her son’s name. Michael just turned 60. Now every year, even after Marie’s death, Michael will get a special gift from his mother! Marie says the gift annuity payments will be a continuing reminder to Michael of her love for him as well as her concern for those served by Sacred Heart Southern Missions.
